On 17 July 2025, the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority (NISTA) unveiled its first interactive 10-year Infrastructure Pipeline digital portal, marking a major step forward in how infrastructure delivery is tracked and understood.
This dynamic platform currently features 780 schemes, offering real-time updates on projected expenditure, project status, completion timelines, and the methodology behind the pipeline. It reflects public spending plans from the latest Spending Review, with a broader update expected in early 2026 following departmental business planning.
While the portal does not signal new policy or investment commitments, it provides a transparent, up-to-date view of existing infrastructure projects—supporting smarter, more strategic decision-making across the sector.
The launch follows the Government’s recent announcement of £725 billion in infrastructure investment over the next decade, reinforcing a shift toward long-term, data-driven planning and delivery.
