HAUC(UK) Launch the Faces of Street Works Campaign

in collaboration with Streetworks (UK) and WA Comms

HAUC(UK) in collaboration with Streetworks (UK) and WA Comms are excited to launch the HAUC(UK) Faces of Street Works Campaign

We’re thrilled to introduce Faces of Street Works, a new campaign from HAUC(UK) that shines a spotlight on the unsung heroes behind Britain’s vital infrastructure.

Every day, thousands of skilled professionals work tirelessly to maintain and upgrade the networks that keep our country running — from water and electricity to broadband and gas. Their efforts ensure that homes stay warm, taps keep flowing, and communities remain connected.

Our campaign video brings these stories to life, showcasing the real people behind the hard hats — like the ganger who safeguards teams on site, and the reinstatement supervisor who ensures roads are restored to high standards after essential works. These are the faces of dedication, expertise, and pride in public service.

As the demand for talent in the street works sector continues to grow, there’s never been a better time to explore the rewarding career paths it offers. Whether you're just starting out or looking to make a meaningful change, this is your chance to be part of shaping the future of Britain’s infrastructure.

You can view live opportunities on the HAUC(UK) Vacancy Hub: https://www.hauc-uk.org.uk/resources/vacancy-hub
