Lancashire County Council have a vacancy for a Streetworks Inspector.
Street Work Inspectors play a key role in the delivery of the Lancashire permit scheme including coordinating and inspecting works on the highway. The role undertakes inspections in line with the requirement of the New Roads and Street Work Act 1991 and the Lancashire permit scheme. Inspectors also have to meet with works operators (including utilities and contractors) to ensure effective planning of works, co-ordination and safety are in place.
