An example of collaboration across the West Midlands to support both Local and National Highway networks
In 2025, Transport for West Midland’s (TfWM) 13 PVMS units supported 48 sites across the West Midlands, delivering fast, consistent messages on works, events, safety and incidents.
HAUC UK actively supports collaboration. TfWM we worked closely with Local Highway Authorities, National Highways, utilities and works promoters to coordinate deployment and keep the network informed. The PVMS also boosted major road safety campaigns with MIB, National Highways, West Midlands Police and the DfT.
