Working Group - Communications
This groups is responsible for the communication strategy for the whole HAUC Community.
This focuses on three main ara
- Agreeing and prioritising messages
- Using the most appreciate distribution medium
- Showcasing industry achievement
The group will identifying and prioritise the right messages, alongside deciding on the most appropriate medium and format to communicate those messages.
The groups focuses on message that hav ea national interest, but also work with the regional groups and devolved nations to highlight message appropriate to the specific areas.
The group will also support ways to showcase community achievements and best practices to other groups

Peter Jones
Peter combines a detailed technical understanding of complex policy issues with a clear strategic approach to deliver on his clients’ objectives.
Peter is an experienced public affairs and strategic communications expert with a decade’s experience advising clients in a range of sectors. He has particular expertise in utilities, creative industries, digital infrastructure and technology.
Peter provides senior counsel to his clients on their strategic public affairs and communications challenges and leads high performing teams running programmes that deliver results.
Peter is a keen rugby player and has spent nearly ten years dedicating his weekends to the Kilburn Cosmos rugby club.

JAG(UK) Chair and Gloucestershire County Council
Phil Cameron
Phil currently holds the position of Gloucestershire's Traffic Manager and has been involved in the street works industry for a number of years. Phil is also plays a prominent role in street works both regionally and nationally being regional chair of both South West JAG and South West HAUC . Phil has also been instrumental in bringing the performance scorecard work forward and the changes to the safety and street works code of practice. Phil is keen to develop systems and working practices that help the industry.
