The user governance group for Street Manager was formed in April 2020 with representatives from the industry to ensure that the Street Manager service continues to develop in line with user need. The main purpose of the group is to decide what should be built and in what order from the backlog of improvements that we have, and will continue to be raised over the next few years. Those appointed to the group are expected to serve for one year, and the current membership is due to expire this month (March).
The applications were opened for users to form the new panel from April 2026 until March 2027, a few weeks ago. There are 10 positions available, which will be formed of 4 HA reps, 4 utility reps (1 from each sector), 1 HA contractor rep and 1 utility contractor rep. The successful candidates will be voted in by you, the users.
The candidates have now been selected and consist of 7 HA, 4 utility (only voting for the Electric sector), 2 contractor and 1 HA Promoter candidates. Firstly, please read the attached Governance Group Ballot Catalogue 2026 with the full list of candidates and their description of why they would be a suitable candidate.

The 4 candidates from the HA candidates with the highest number of votes, the highest water sector utility candidate and the highest contractor candidate, will be appointed to the Governance Group for next year. In addition, to those who were the sole applicant for their respective position. We did not receive any applications from the Gas sector this year but fortunately the current governance group Gas sector representative has agreed to do another term.
