Last week, HAUC(UK)s Co-Chair and Street Works UK CEO, Clive Bairsto CBE, met with the Minister for Roads and Buses, Simon Lightwood, to discuss the important role the street works industry plays in supporting growth across the UK.
Clive and the Minister discussed recent sector developments, including the recent changes to the street works regulations and lane rental policy.
During the meeting, the Minister highlighted the Government’s commitment to working closely with Street Works UK and HAUC(UK) to promote coordination and collaboration across the sector, helping utility companies operate as effectively as possible.
