HAUC (England) issue a summary of the Changes to Street Works Legislation

This applies from 5th January 2026

HAUC England summaries the changes to regulations which will apply on and after the 5th January 2026.

Changes include those to lane rental - 50% surplus fund requirement and changes to S74 charges for the unreasonably prolonged occupation of the highway
