DSIT are working to make the NUAR, a digital map of the country’s underground pipes and cables, fully operational by the end of 2025.
Construction workers currently have to contact multiple organisations and wait for 6 days on average to get the information they need. With this new tool, they can access the data they need instantly - speeding up roadworks and closures and reducing delays for those on the road.
